The faculty’s national and international professional experience offers unique opportunities for student learning, travel and global internships.
The school offers BFA, MA of Design in Fashion, Body and Garment, and Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Fashion, Body and Garment.
Sage Studios for Fashion Design
Housed in the Sage Studios for Fashion Design within a historic building designed by Louis Sullivan, SAIC’s Fashion department offers one of the most intense, interdisciplinary fashion design programs in Chicago. Among them there are also such notable designers as: Matthew Ames, Shane Gabier and Christopher Peters of Creatures of the Wind, Abigail Glaum-Lathbury, Gary Graham, Halston, Maria Pinto, Cynthia Rowley and Lawrence Steele.
